Designed for distributed workflows

PyPLN was designed to distribute analytical NLP workloads across computing resources. This describes an architectural goal of the historical software, not a performance guarantee for a current service.

PyPLN was designed to distribute analytical NLP workloads across computing resources. This describes an architectural goal of the historical software, not a performance guarantee for a current service.

File-type and language detection was intended to support workflows that adapt analysis methods to different kinds of documents and languages.

The original system described a built-in full-text search capability so users could query documents and corpora and view related analysis results.

The platform was designed to visualize linguistic outputs such as word frequency statistics and part-of-speech tags through a web interface.
The feature descriptions come from archived project material. The original hosted demo is not included, and functionality has not been verified against a current PyPLN installation.
